Sunday School (Students)
Students meet in the youth room at 9:30am to have a short time of announcements and prayer before heading into Sunday School groups divided by 6th-8th grade, 9th-10th grade, and 11th-12th grade.
Wednesday Night Recharge
Recharge will remind students that we are not limited to what we “empty batteries” are capable of but rather we are empowered by God to do His great works and that the Church is a place in which we “recharge” our batteries. Students will be served a meal beginning at 5:30pm and Bible study begins at 6:00pm

The Season of Thanksgiving
Hello Church Family!
It’s the season of Thanksgiving! Which is also one of my favorite times of the year! Not only because there will be lots of turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and my ultimate favorite, sweet potato casserole that my wife makes every year! But it’s also the time of year that we focus on being grateful for all that God has given us. I am grateful to God for being able to serve as a pastor in the church I grew up in. I am also grateful for you, my church family, and the love you show me and my family each day! May the Lord bless each of you as we enter the holiday season!
We’ve had a great start to the Fall Semester with Sunday Night Discipleship and Recharge in full swing! On Sunday nights, students are not only learning about spiritual disciplines but also applying them with engaging activities, journaling and prayer walks! Pray for continued spiritual growth in our student ministry!
The FBW Students are hosting a Chili Cook-Off fundraiser on November 2nd after the 2nd service. Students will serve sample sized cups of chili from each chili station. Vote for your favorite and be served a full bowl of that chili for lunch! Cost of eating chili is by donation. Thank you church family for supporting our student ministry!
Monday Night Fellowship is on November 17th this month since the last Monday of the month is during Thanksgiving break! M.N.F. with be at our house (the Sahr’s house), 403 SW 80th St starting at 6:00 PM. This is a great time for students to bond, play games, play with dogs, or just need time to fellowship. Dinner is provided!
The last night for Wednesday Night Recharge for this year will be November 19. This last one will be very special! It’s Friendsgiving! All the makings of a thanksgiving meal with food, games, and devotion time about giving thanks to God! We will start up again in January.
